UniCote LUX Roller Doors

The UniCote® LUX roller doors are made from an imported pre-painted steel product designed to suit Australian high-end architecture. Combining the world’s best coil coating technology with rigorous testing to Australian standards, it meets all weather conditions, resistant to chipping, peeling or cracking.
Build to last. UniCote® uses a hot-dipped aluminium/zinc alloy-coated steel substrate. The outer layer is a polyester topcoat, using the latest infrared reflective pigments, baked onto a polyester primer. The result is an extremely durable paint system built to resist UV damage from Australia’s harsh sun, providing excellent colour and gloss retention.

 

Why choose UniCote® LUX finish?

  • SCRATCH RESISTANCE
    Good scratch resistance. Testing includes needle scratch test – no marking of paint surface when a needle with a 2kg weight attached is drawn across.
  • IMPACT RESISTANCE
    No loss of paint adhesion after a test piece is struck on the reverse side with a specified force.
  • BEND RESISTANCE
    No loss of adhesion or paint cracking when bent around a diameter equal to five times the thickness of the steel sheet.
  • HEAT RESISTANCE
    Suitable for continuous service up to 100ºC. Continuous service at higher temperatures may cause some colour change and damage to the paint film.
  • SALT RESISTANCE
    Meets the requirements of AS/NZS2728:2013.
  • HUMIDITY RESISTANCE
    Meets the requirements of AS/NZS2728:2013.
  • UV RESISTANCE
    Meets the requirements of AS/NZS2728:2013.
  • VISUAL APPEARANCE
    Made from a luxury material to suit high-end architecture.

Centre Lift Lock

All of our residential garage doors feature a centre lift lock, generally located at waist height and able to be locked and unlocked externally with a key. The internal keyless override allows a safe exit path in case of emergencies.

Optional extra:

  • Windlock Clip – for high wind-prone areas.

Dual-Sided Nylon Webbing

Our roller doors have nylon felt webbing on each side of the door curtain to eliminate metal-to-metal contact. They also use helical springs as counter-balancing devices. These features make for a smooth operation with minimum noise.

Aluminium Bottom Rail

Heavy-duty aluminium bottom rails are added to increase the strength of our garage roller doors. These rails feature PVC weather seals to protect your garage and your home from the elements.
